Lesson note or Lesson Plan- whatever you chose to call it, is simply a guided and

step by step plan to a class or lesson you plan to teach. One thing that is necessary

when writing any of these 2 is the class curriculum.

In Nigeria, there is a book of curriculum that contains different subjects for

different classes and recommended textbooks.

What is a Lesson note?

Curriculum
Lesson note in its actual term is a written teacher’s work and activities prepared strictly for a supervisor. In Nigeria, a lesson note is also the same as a lesson plan only that it is to be submitted to a supervisor. So a lesson note is an outline of the activities, aims and objectives of a proposed class. It’s always a chore for teachers to write (Teachers don’t like it).

Lesson Plan

A lesson plan is a step by step list and explanation of a proposed lesson. It includes aims, objectives and the activities to be carried out. For a person to become a Teacher in Nigeria, he /she would need to know how to prepare a lesson note.
